If you do that then we can answer your questions and send you some information. God Bless you in your discernment. John -John D. Stearns I am a seminarian taking a break for discernment from the Diocese of Salt Lake City. My parents are moving to Castle Rock and I\'m joining them. What would be the best way for me to get tied in with men like you to stay focused on the priesthood? Also, Salt Lake City stopped sending their seminarians to St. John Vianney in the 1990\'s. Why is that? From what I can tell, I would love to finish my theology work there. -Adam Calliham Thank you for all that you do. Often we hear that members of our generation no longer care about our Church and you are shining examples of how untrue that is. God Bless -Rachel and Todd Makrucki Hello, Seminarians! Welcome back to the Springs. You are always welcome to join us for breakfast and fellowship at the Serra Club meetings at the Cathedral every first and third Thursdays at 7:30. Let us know where you\'ll be assigned this summer so we can keep in touch. Yours in Christ, The Serra Club -The Serra Club aaaa219zzz -Anonymous What a good site. I am glad to see seminarians take an active role in society. I am sure that your Bishop is very proud of you. Keep up the good work and we will keep up the prayers for you. -Anonymous Your Comment HereThank you for this site . God Bless all ! May The Father be honored and glorified through all priests who have been given the glorious role to reveal Father Love ,as our Lord does ! May the same Father Love in and through our Lord be their solace and strenght ! -Anonymous This website is a good idea. It helps us keep up to date with those that are in formation for this wonderful ministry of service and know for whom we are praying for. We are especially thankful to have David Price with us for his pastoral year at St. Paul Church. -Beverly Martin Do you all have any idea how powerful you are when you stand before us as our priests and seminarians? Do you know how MUCH you lighten our burdens as parents when we see unselfish men of God in their cassocks and albs, rolling up their sleeves to help us. Help us with what? With the only thing that matters--to transmit the faith, whole and intact, to the next generation. Why? So that Christ\\\'s haunting question, \\\"When the Son of Man returns, will he find any faith left on the earth?\\\" can be answered with a resounding YES! If that answer is to be yes, it will only be because of real men like you. I was once a seminarian, too. Even completed an undergrad degree in Theology. But that was the tumultuous and confusing 60s and 70s. Angry and confused, I even considered myself an agnostic for a while, AFTER getting a degree in theology! Nobody ever told us back then that there are tremendous biblical proofs for the papacy, the eucharist, confession, the priesthood, etc. and that the reason we even have a Bible is because of the God-given authority of the bishops and pope during early councils (Carthage and Hippo, in 393 and 397 AD) to determine which books were inspired and which were not. And I never knew that 29 out the first 30 popes were all martyred. Heroes who gave all so that Christ\\\'s haunting question can still today be answered, \\\"Yes.\\\" Each of you, upon completion of duties on earth, will meet these heroes face to face in Glory. Heroes meeting heroes. Real men meeting real men. -Steve Wasilewski Nice site and usefull. Thanks for doing this. Bob -Bob Green, GK Sts Gabriel & John Vianney Council 12335 Briargate I have a son who is a seminarian in FL. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you this day and everyday, Mike -Mike Great idea, this web page! It\'s hugely important for seminarians to know they aren\'t \"isolated\" in their quest for Holy Priesthood. Keep going, gentlemen, we are praying for you, and not only you, but other men who might be considering orders. -Jere Joiner We, Serrans are praying for you daily. May Our Lady protect each of you and help to bring your vocations to fulfillment. -Joe and Peg Roach So many of you. God is really answering our prayers for priests. May God bless you all.
